About Vertex Mechanical

Vertex Mechanical Inc. was started in February 2002 with the combining of two companies: Ray Youndt & Son Heating and Cooling and Robert E. Martin Electrical Contracting. In 1980 Ray Youndt started a plumbing and air conditioning subcontracting service for Sears. Vincent Youndt, current President of Vertex Mechanical Inc, worked along side his father, Ray, since he was eleven years old. After graduating high school in 1989, Vincent and his father formed a partnership. Bob Martin started in 1985 as an electrician for Haller Enterprises. In 1991 Bob began to do general contracting as a builder. He returned to full-time electrical contracting in the late 1990’s until joining to form Vertex Mechanical Inc in 2002. In February of 2006, Rick Brouse of Brouse Heating and Air Conditioning merged with Vertex Mechanical Inc. In March of 2009, Mark Elmer, owner if L&K Plumbing, came on board with Vertex to manage the service department and expand our plumbing services. Vincent and his father Ray have been doing Geothermal Heat Pump installations since 1985.
